Exactly, Internet Marketing is unpredictable. It can change at any time.
At least we can be safe in the knowledge that our business' won't be running out funds soon, as the the Internet is still booming!

you are right in saying that one need to find a niche on the internet
March 17, 2008 07:50 AM
Well, I think I have curved out my niche and that is to bring internet marketing to the African-American community and women and show how we can get into the game and make a living online.
I find the numbers are small of African-American and women Internet Marketers. Stephen Pierce is a top Guy who caters to everyone which is cool, but I think we need more women and minorities on the internet marketing bandwagon. It's a rainbow out their that we want to become more inclusive and collaboration of all folks.

Hi Joel,

Thanks for the video!

Joel you are so creative. (I love the whole Weatherman theme here)
I can tell you absolutely love what you do. I have been to 2 of your seminars, one at Affiliate Summit East 07 and Affiliate Summit West 08. I watched Internet Millionaire. You are to me the most creative and happy Internet Guru/teacher out there. Keep it up. I hope to meet you again one day in the future. I realize people like you and Shawn Collins and many others are here for the love of what you do. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. Have a Happy St. Patrick's Day.

Love the video, and as Loz asked...how and what do you use to make them ?

Just like you say Joel, the market is unpredictable just like the daily weather; but whats for sure, more and more people are looking for 'education' to do it right. The technology gets more exciting, but the basics are the same - find your niche.
By the way, great video.....i'm sure the BBC could do with a new weatherman :))

Nice Vid Joel, loving the effects :P I too think the future is bright

Hey Joel,
Creative video ... loved the weatherman stuff!
I think you are right in saying that nobody can predict the future. I do think it is safe to say though that the internet will continue to be extremely profitable.

Like you said Joe.. I too think the future is bright for anyone to venture in the internet marketing - only if you concentrate in your own niche... selling infos, products and services that you are passionate and really good at!
FYI, I've been selling my cartoon services on the net and I can make a good living from it!
So guys, find your niche!
Thanks,

Thanks Joel,
The idea is to find your niche and to find your best mode operandi too. That is - is it going to be video, audio, pinged, blogged, googled, ppc, data feeds - what and how will it be? And transmitted? Its keeping up with the technology which is the challenge.

Hi Joel
Your prediction is so right.
It reminds me of an insurance job I had many moons ago.
When money was tight my boss used to say that this was when people needed to buy a policy to protect themselves for the future and then when money was more abundant then this was when people should take advantage of that spare cash and invest it to get even better returns.
Basically theres never a time not to make a sale, you just adapt to the situation at hand.
The future looks promising.
Thanks

Great video, Joel. So refreshing to see someone in IM being more creative with their presentation. You must 'reveal' to us how you do your videos! And excellent words of advice as usual.
I've been doing some local marketing recently (selling website solutions). What amazes me the most is that, even though it's now 2008, most small local business owners are still clueless about the advantages of having a website and the marketing side of it.
Whilst many of us tend to only focus all our efforts on-line, and take for granted what we know, there's a huge market off-line for any one with IM knowledge, skills and experience.
So the opportunity here? Become the IM 'guru' in your local area. There's far less competition than trying to become one on-line.
Look forward to your next video, Joel.
Thanks,
Mickey

Hi Joel,
Another nice video. I'd loved it!
But i feel like a bit disapointed with your anwser. The introduction of the email was : struggling under the flood of new products... I really thank i was going to know how to stop joinning the last promissing one preventing me from promoting the one i already had. -:)
I think Internet Marketing is very important for the future of the internet. It is its blood!
Yes, it is important to have a niche, but when your niche is Internet Marketing... It covers so many things.
I realise that i stayed away from seo because i didn't want to get in another new thing. Those days i am seo marketing. And if i understand everything, i am obliged.
Can you really work on one niche. You need to stay informed. So there is a lot of chances that you sign up with the last service or program, even just to see what is happening around.
It is not very difficult to find a niche. I think it is difficult to stay in it.
But as you said, everyone has his chance in internet marketing. There more and more thing made to simplify things. So much that it makes me wonder why?
I thank you so much for being you, Joel.
As you can see, i made a comment. Yes i remember it. Great!

Just starting to learn this VRE stuff and it is great.
I have worked in the internet realm via software sales since 1999, and the bubble bursting got me a little gun shy, but I am back. After watching what is happening over these past few years, I agree that IM is only going to grow and grow and grow.
There are over 9 billion people in the world and over the next decade, they will ALL be on line.
Be here now and reap the benefits of the future.

Excellent video, Joel. Love your creativity, too, and join the comment above wanting to know how you do your videos.
I think the worldwide economy is in serious trouble - but there is always money MADE by some during tough times. The lack of bricks-and-mortar make IM THE place to be now.
Some days may be hot and some cold, but I think the skies are clear for us if we help each other with the available tools - overcoming the techno-hurdles that all non-techies have - and JVs.
The two greatest challenges will continue to be (1) mastering technological changes and (2) finding the right niches with the right messages. Then let your passion shine!
I look forward to your next video, and appreciate you.
Margaret

Another good message Joel
Once you've found your niche, the key is to have the self-confidence to believe that you can be the niche go-to person, and then drive your momentum all the way to sustained success
You need to believe in yourself, your customers, and what you're offering, and then get on with it
Be your best and love your life

I think the future of internet marketing will be more complex and more technical. Joel is correct we should focus or carved our own niche which we think we can excel. Nice Video..

Hi Joel,
Chance for copies from the north-east? Sounds like you are referring to C**y M**a. ;)
BTW... thanks for shaving! This will hopefully decrease the number of times people ask me at offline seminars "Are you Joel Comm?" :D
