    no video!

  4. Sarah Says:

Better you should call it "instant insanity", since you only sent the email today and the video is no longer available. Your products are always the very best on the market. How did this joke slip out?

  5. Heidi Ross Says:

I also get a video no longer available message.

There is no ways that I know of for making fast money online. Everything requires some kind of time involved. And anything that does claim fast money I run the other way as fast as I can. The only ones who claim fast money, that I have seen, are scams.

Wow ...that was the best video ever.. Who would have thunk it, that by just doing that first thing you suggested would work, well I tried it and damn $14.714 in one hour ....your second idea only netted me $2550 in that same hour but wow...I'll keep trying.
    Thanks Joel

  7. Scott Says:

No video!!!!! Just in th past week I have come to know the quality of your products as I compare them with what I've purchased in the last three months. Too bad I found this late, but glad it won't happen again. Now I have a good set of products to compare and use to launch my internet business.
I look forward to the possibility of watching your video soon.

  14. John from honest home business Says:

    Great video Joel!

Seems like everybody is looking for the fast buck, which never turns up for the the internet beginner, and I know you completely agree with that statement.

There is still a myth about the pot of gold just waiting to be discovered by deciding to run a business online.

As usual, you offer the best advice for anyone just starting out.

Meeting like minded people with the same drive and goals is definitely a better way to make money online, and seminars are often full of people with great ideas.

The video is well presented Joel. Very relaxed.

Keep the good stuff coming. It's always good to hear your views.
    Sincerely,
    John Adams

  15. Make Money Online Says:

I was able to watch the video. But going to a conference would be a way to quickly spend some money, wouldn't it? Going to a conference is for people that have a pile of money to start with.

    Mike

  16. Mike Kocis Says:

Yes I'd love to go to Armonds $2000 conference, I bet everyone would. So if you can't make it to these expensive gatherings,( it is a lot for some ) maybe you should think more along the lines of a conference in your specific niche.

You sell horse training videos - I know there are tons of events featuring horses, You offer quilting videos and supplies - again find clubs, groups or websites that tell you where and when they have an event.

    Good advise Joel,

  17. Don Keith Says:

Great video Joel, good mix of information and entertainment. Problem
for so many is they really do not have the resources to go to a
conference yet so they need great ways to make money online
    with only a small investment
    .
    Don

  18. Handbag Girl Says:

That is excellent advice. Every time I have attended a conference or presentation I have met someone or learned something that helps my business now and in the future. We cannot all sit at home staring at our laptops every day!

  19. Jon D. Atwood Says:

    Great post Joel! Too true...

If I hadn't come to Dallas a couple of years ago to work for Puddy I know my business wouldn't be where it is today.

Looking forward to having lunch (or something) with you guys next month!!

  20. Susan O'Dea Says:

This is the first time I have ever heard anyone say "Attend conferences." Lucky for us we had one in Australia, and we went. I totally agree with you Joel, and one day we will be attend one of yours!

  21. Richard Barker Says:

I feel silly now - I almost did go to a conference a year or so back but I pulled out at the last minute because I had so much happening. Of course, with hindsight I knew that I should have gone - your video confirmed this. Nothing beats making connections and you get to brain storm with people who have proven track records. The same goes in any industry. Get around people who have a proven track records and learn!

  22. Russell Says:

That was some of the worst advice ever Joel! 99% of the people wanting, or NEEDing, to know the fastest way to profit on the net can NOT afford to attend a 2-5k seminar.

And what if after attending said seminar they learn that internet marketing is not for them - it certainly isn't suited to everyone. That is a very expensive lesson to learn.

$2,000 would go a long ways towards outsourcing a killer first product (i.e. ebook) and a great website from which to sell it. Once profits are consistently rolling in, THEN one should consider attending a seminar which can help take the business to the next level.

Sorry but I stronly disagree with you on this one Joel.

  23. Shannon aka Newbie1 Says:

Joel - again good advice. Sometimes the simplest things are great to be reminded about so thanks. I did a quick Google search and voila! Several in town Internet Marketing seminars are happening this month and even found some 1/2 day and all day events that are free! I have already signed up so I can start the networking process.

I would look forward to more specific targeted news such as widgets, how to boost revenue by pay per click and also the new features from Web 3.0

  25. Teffy Says:

    Hey Joel,

I'm from Singapore and there aren't many Internet money-making conferences here of late. I did attend once last year and there was this guy suddenly blurted out to me after the conference something like "s***t man, I still don't understand how to make money online!"

Well the conference is basically about using Adwords to sell Clickbank or other affiliate programs online which I think he knew nothing of to begin with.

Until I began telling him about a wonderful program call AdSense ;) And guess what, we exchange numbers and got along very well.

The moral of the story: "Go to conferences!"

    Great video Joel!

  26. Sunga Says:

I really like the idea of starting with a conference. Trouble is, here in Africa, you do not get many of those conferences. Video or telephone live conferencing is in some time zone with its own challenges. For instance, internet is available in my office only...and very few gurus put that material on mp3 players...catch my drift?

BUT networking is the key indeed. You would be amazed how many helpful people I have networked with online.

  27. webmaster Says:

Message delivered and clear Joel. Maybe someone needs to tell us where the conferences will take place in Lusaka or Gaborone, Kinshasa or Cairo maybe Dubai. I guess there is not much networking at webinars!!
    Any Ideas?

  28. Richard Howell Says:

    HI JOEL

I guess it is time to take my internet marketing business to the next level and

    . . . GO TO A CONFERENCE! :)

    Looking forward to it.

    Thanks.

    Richard Howell

  29. Gene Says:

Sorry, Joel, I think there are better answers. Your answer "to attend a conference" is kinda like Marie Antoinette telling the hungry poor to "just eat cake". There are some people that want to make it big in internet marketing, and conferences are great for those people. But there are many people just looking for some part-time cash to help make ends meet. These people cannot afford to travel great distances and spend thousands of dollars to go to a conference where they will be pitched on more mega-buck products and coaching programs....

But there are things people can do to make quick money today. Put an ad on Craigslist, write an article, post some forum messages, put up a Google ad, etc. These are things you can do for affiliate products or as a paid service for others. Someone needs to write a guide with all these quick and easy ideas. If you don't, I will:)

  30. Flip Websites Build Buy Sell Make Money Says:

Great advice for making money fast Joel. I guess I better start looking around for some marketing confrences to attend in my area... Before all the money is gone fast.

  31. Tom73 Says:

Joel is 100% right, you NEED to go to a conference, meet people and network!. I've done network marketing for many years and always after a conference my income takes a big jump up!

  32. Merlin Says:

Why do ppl say "forward slash"?
    It's either "slash" or "backslash"!!!

  33. J D Says:

    What a great commercial!

  34. Maurice Says:

    Nice tip Joel!

But what do you do if you live outside the US, in a non-english speaking country, that hasn't that much of affiliate and IM network?

Hi, this Daniel and I live on Vancouver Island in BC Canada.

I was wondering if anybody else lives in my area! Would anybody know off-hand of any local IM conferences in southwestern Canada or the northwest United States?

    Daniel Tetreault.

  36. HP van Duuren Says:

Mmmmmmm, I am not sure if everybody - initially - will be HAPPY with your
answer, since they didn't ask 'How to spend money offline' nevertheless teaming up with like-minded does seem to be a sensible thing to do.

    All the Best,
    To your Happy Inspiration,

  37. Petes2cents Says:

I kind of agree with what the last comment was; a little disappointed, but the truth hurts sometimes, but I do definitely appreciate the honesty.

Your visitors keep coming back for a reason. So your quest is paying off...

Bottom line, great job, your entertaining and funny, and I will keep coming back for your wisdom.

    Thanks...
