What Article Site Should I Submit My Articles To?
Content is the backbone of the web.
Sure, you can also find chat rooms, games and some other stuff on the web, but content is the driving force behind most web sites, especially if you are looking to make money with AdSense.
Of course, you can have all the top-notch content in the world on your site, but if you no one can find it... well, you know the story.
One great way to drive traffic to your site for free is by writing articles and syndicating them to the right article sites.
A reader recently wrote and asked me which is the best site to submit articles in order to get more traffic, and I have a very definitive answer. Watch to learn my recommendation.

Thanks Joel. I knew about that site but never thought about using it for traffic. I will try it and report back to you.

Like all these little "Ask Joel" vids, this one is so useful. Thanks.
But... (and isn't there always a "but"?) why the constant zooming in and out? What Joel has to say doesn't need this 90s-style video presentation. His words are fine by themselves.
And it was such a darkly-shot video. :-) Like some of those gloomy CSI shows.

Hi,
As an owner of a very large article directory myself I actually don't understand why as an article writer I would submit to one lonely site.
I totally agree that ezineArticles is a great site but there are a few more that are worth submitting to, keep it to maybe 5 major article directories with slight changes in the title and content to help better beat the content duplicate filters on search engines.
ezinearticles has its problems - long waiting periods for publication and a limit on the amount of article you can submit.
I invite you Joel to review my site www.ArticlesBase.com and let me know what you think.
Thank you.

Sure would love to hear Joel's answer to that. But... I'm on satellite. I've been waiting 5 minutes so far for it to load. Videos are fun for the creators, but worthless for anyone who isn't on a high speed connection. And in some places high speed is not an option.

Thanks for the great comments!
We're experimenting with video and will be trying some different things. I agree that there is too much zooming in and out and that will change in upcoming videos.
Watch for new stuff coming soon, and keep the questions coming. :-)

Hey Joel all i can say is that you're one of kind. Your expertise is a much valuable commodity! Thanks for the insite on the ezine.

I agree that ezinearticles.com is a good site to submit articles to. And from personal experience - its a good idea to submit articles to a few sites - staggered over the course of a few weeks.
You can change them or not its up to you.
How do I know this works... well I chatted with the guy who has written several articles on our site all of which have received thousands of hits from just our site. I'm sure he would strongly disagree that posting only to ezinearticles.com is the way to go.
While I'm no expert on building content sites - I know a lot about SEO and the importance of having your name on a lot of sites.

You are so right Joel. EzineArticles.com is the best site for submitting articles to. I even have the coffee mug that they sent to me to prove it:) I thought that they limited articles, also, but all you have to do is ask them to continue and they will. Thanks for all the hard work you have put in lately. You content is fantastic!

This is all well and good Joel but I live in Thailand and when your information is exclusively on video I can't view it.

Hey Joel, Thank you for the straightforward info on publishing articles to boost incoming links and traffic. But I have to say this is the first video I've bothered to watch since you've started doing this. Why? Because I just don't want to take the time. Because of my busy schedule I read almost all of your short emails you send so regularly. When you and some others started doing video ezine articles I saved time by not clicking and waiting.
I wonder if you've tracked that sort of thing, or if you can, for that matter.

Hi Joel, as it happens my membership was upgraded from basic plus to platinum last night. It's a lovely feeling! At the moment I'm on vacation in Spain and writing articles about my discoveries. This is to promote my new site www.worldtraveldirect.co.uk using ezinearticles.com

I have been using Goarticles.com - Thanks for the tip

Hi Joel
Thanks for the great information. I have been submitting to ezinearticles and since I'm just a beginner writer, I was surprised when they published my articles, I have three there now. I know thats not a lot, but when you start at zero, which most of us do. That's three more then I had.

I just launched my very own niche website and I'm always finding your information very useful. Thanks Joel.

Robin,
Ezinearticles.com has very quick approval once you are a PLatinum Expert Author, and I'm not aware of any limitations on numbers you can submit. One author Lance Winslow has 11,111 published articles...

Hey Joel,
Thanks for the information. I got really confused as to where to submit my articles. I was submitting to a ton of directories. One tactis I am now using based on adive given by you and Gary Ruplinger, is to submit to ezine articles first and then do the $2 distribution at Isnare. Keep up the great work with these videos. They are much appreciated.

Hey Joel!
Hope you are having a fantastic day. The video about EzineArticles.Com is very helpful.
I will definitely have to make sure I go and use EzineArticles.Com soon, and use it more effectively than I currently do.

ezinearticles.com is good. The other good one is goarticles.com. The rest of them are not good for getting backlinks to your websites but not traffic.
Thanks

Thanks for the confirmation on Ezinearticles. Several people have talked about this but would you recommend submitting the same article to say, Ezine and another article directory like goarticles.com? And if so, do I need to revise the article or submit the same to the two directories.

Another great video, I've been writing for searchwarp.com and I'm very happy with the traffic and the backlinks. It may be the easiest article site to use out there?
Again, thanks alot Joel

Great video, I like to add a paragraph before the article with an h1, then h2 the article and end with a paragraph with an h2. Really good way to attract some SERPS.
