Today I ended up on this page after clicking a link in Joel's Adsense Secrets ebook I just purchased 3 days ago for $9.95. I just watched Part 1 of this 'A Dot Com Story' series and left a comment about how I overcome challenges and negativity in life. In this part 2, Joel mentions praying, asking God for help and believing in himself when his new-found venture World Village seemed to fall apart. I have had many similar experiences over the past 30 years, and for twenty of those years, I usually attributed my miraculous turn-arounds to my daily practice of Maharishi's technique of Transcendental meditation and advanced TM-Sidhi program (including yogic flying), which often resulted in what I called Support of Mother Nature (which can be equated to God's support). In the past ten years, however, I found out through personal experience that it is always me, my self or ego--and all the negative self-sabotaging thoughts and emotions I or my ego entertains--which are responsible for keeping my good fortune from manifesting. Even more importantly, I realized that it wasn't really God or Mother Nature which was responsible for turning my life around, but my life always turned around and got better the moment I (me) was willing to STOP creating and entertaining my negative thoughts and emotions. Not as a result of changing the circumstances which I previously blamed for feeling negative, but DIRECTLY as a result of my own personal inner choice to stop the non-sensical blaming game (which I believe to be the result of mankind's belief in cause and effect as an absolute law of Nature). I also discovered that the transformation of my life and its various circumstances is so much easier and more profound when I focus on creating freedom from the negative emotions about life and about what I don't like--WITHOUT having to change the latter first. And interestingly, when I do that--when I make the choice to no longer feel negative about stuff, and especially when I also choose to stop it for good--all the wonderful miracles that I used to attribute to God or Mother Nature are an automatic by-product or side-benefit. This doesn't mean that I no longer believe in God; it just confirms what God and all scriptures have always been saying...that God's kingdom (the experience of love, abundance, bliss, etc.) has always been there for the taking and enjoying--if only man hadn't started putting all the negativity on top of it and hadn't been stubbornly righteous about how hard life is, i.e. if only man (incl. men or women) hadn't chosen to be his or her own greatest enemy. Fortunately, there is now a simple way to turn things around by simply realizing that it's a choice, and then just making that choice of stopping the negative emotion--preferably for good. It really is that simple when I make the choice. And when I choose freedom of a particular unwanted condition for good (and I really mean it), that is what I get each time--permanent freedom from whatever the negative emotion or thought or experience was. And I then KNOW THIS deep within (and it gets confirmed over time). This leaves a free space in which I can then choose whatever else I want to choose, easily and effortlessly. It's so cool. And it's NOT mystical at all. So Joel, I am right with you on what you describe here, even though my experience of what you talk about may be slightly different.

I am khan from Pakistan working online as freelance programmer and following Joel since last two years. First I found his book of google adsense secrets. Believe me still I am unable to buy his book or even any other recommendation. But I am using my personal technique to learn all kinds of techniques and tacts just by reading new idea and tips in emails. His tips are really great. Because of great messsages full of wealth I never miss any email to read. Now this is second video of Joel step series, I really found it great. Big message for people like living in backworld to earn and learn from the stories of great peoples in this virtual world. Currently I am building script to start rich community based or blog types sites with few clicks. Using this script peoples will be able to start any kind of site under lowest possible price.
Thanks Joel

I just bought the Adsense Secret 4 Book, apparently because it is now $10. It contains a lot of information. To me, Joel is Adsense Genius! He deserves a global award for his innovation in the field of internet business.
He is one of my virtual online mentors who I admire most.
Thanks a lot as I dedicate my new blog http://www.tellmeonline.net/ to you

Hmm. After watching this video and reading the comments I have to ask myself whether Joel had a negative or positive attitude when he turned to his wife and said we have $1.75 in our bank account. :-)
It's a humbling experience when you tell the world that you turned to God for help in times of despair. There is too much me, me, me in this world today. Whether you were negative or positive at the time, God must have felt that you deserved it Joel when he sent the angel investor in your time of need. More power to you.
I would get your recent Google Adsense report and devour it if I hadn't had my Google Adsense account disqualified last year. Is there any hope for me? :-)
God bless
Mike

I have been a member of your email list for 2 years now, and have purchased many of your Adsense template packages and ebooks. Great products, well worth the money. I have just removed my email from your list due to your using a forced continuity subscription on the sales page for your latest Adsense book update. This is a really fraudulant and deceptive sales method which totally blows my confidence in you. Thank you for the quality of your work in the past -- I hope you will reconsider what you are doing to your customers.

Joel,
You have interesting timing here...
You and I met at Carl's Galletti seminar a couple years ago, this subject did not come up, at lunch, but I enjoyed what we all talked about. I asked the question of the table if anyone played games and at first everyone said no, then as they thought about it they did play, whether it was cell phone games or other types.
I find myself in the cycle you speak of... full-time in internet marketing, right on the edge. I have all of the pieces together, and the goal is to really help clients that need coaches for their customers. We have the coaches lined up, and ready to teach, we have the basic subjects covered by specialist who have been coaching for years, in eBay trading, Stocks and Options, Real Estate investing, Forex investing, and internet marketing. I kept having the promise of "angel investors" but none materialized, as I kept spending my life savings on the project, hoping to get traction, or investors before we ran out of cash.
This is the week... I believe in myself and that the universe will provide what is needed to keep on going, I just may have to find that it is a different direction than I thought it was... letting go of a projected $12 million dollar business right now would be hard to do.
I have run multi million dollar business units for large corporations, where funding was never an issue, lay out the plan get it approved, start the project, cash the checks...
So wondering about grocery money, when just a few sales would put us back in the black, is testing me...
I will come back and let you know how it all came together... and of course if you know anyone looking for a very healthy return on their cash... I'm all ears!
You have helped many people with your books and other training material, and I really enjoyed the TV show... so keep up the good work.

Joel,
I don't KNOW if there is or if there isn't a God.
What I'm certain about is, there is a 'force or universal power' (for lack of a better way to say it) that responds to us.
Whether we accept it or not we are connected to something, call it what you will.
I believe also that we cannot disconnect from this source even if we wanted to. Something is running the cosmic show!
It responds no matter what we think, good or bad.
I suppose that it is those times when we become emotional about something, the most focused emotionally reagrding something, that IT responds; and when we're not, it remains impartial and waiting, waiting, waiting.

Thanx, Joel for reminding us where our help comes from!

Nice Joel,
I believe you received a blessing from above that day. I have experienced similar blessings in my life that seem to occur after I have been faithful in giving back a portion of my good fortune. We can not do everything on our own. Through God, all things are possible.

One of the best pieces of advice I ever received when I set up my own business was to always be in the traffic. Sure, you can step back on the kerb once in a while to reassess, but it's when you're in the traffic, that you will be seen, and who knows what might come your way.....in your case, a Japanese investor
Even if things are going porrly for you, stay out there, where you can be seen, because the perfect person might just be watching
Be your best and love your life

Joel,
I must say that this video had made me a bigger fan of you. It shows the human side of yourself and not just the business marketing guru that you are. Thank you for sharing and keep them coming!
