It's time to tell my story! This series will feature the highlights of my online experience, as well as some of the things I learned along the way.

Heh, that's strange, I started out in a similar way! Although, I'm still only 17, so this was a lot more recent.
When I was around 14 I launched a few small video game sites - managed to get a few hundred dollars worth of games, but there is so much competition in that field, which is why I stopped. Although I do have a few forums related to games. :)
Also, my first big site sale of $260 was one of my video game sites (still whilst I was 14) which is the reason I focused on becoming an internet marketer - I made a site about something I loved and made money = awesome.

it's funny how you started out in video gaming for YaHoO! & ended up earning a goldmine in AdSense. Additionally, I feel much more hopeful about my life now that I keep track of you in helping other people like myself succees online in earning a living making money on the internet...:-)

I am still trying to get used to the beard-less Joel! Any how, I find that what is really true is that when you are passionate about something, the right people are drawn to you and all that is left is for you to monetise it. That is what is happening to me in my part of the world...MALAWI.

That's a great story, Joel. I look forward to watching more videos in this series. You say: "Do what you love and the money will follow". Many people would like to experience that, but most find themselves unable to significantly change the course of their life, pointing to all sorts of reasons why they can't. On top of that, they FEEL BAD (frustrated, hopeless, etc.)--not only about the outside obstacles that seem to be in their way, but also (and probably more so) about their own inner perceived inability. These negative emotions make it even more difficult to amend the already-challenging situation. Ten years ago, I found a simple way to get over this difficulty: every few weeks or months, I do a self-freeing session. I use what I call the unconditional freedom process--a simple series of questions which I ask myself and answer honestly. The result is that I am actually able to create PERMANENT freedom from whatever negative thoughts and emotions I chose to get rid of in a given session--especially those which have been silently driving my life from behind the scenes. What's really neat is that I don't have to deal with or get rid of the presumed causes of those unwanted conditions I am creating freedom from in a given session--that's why I call it UNCONDITIONAL freedom process. Recently I actually did a very powerful session on myself, in which I chose to create freedom from ALL bad feelings---no matter what happens in my life--for the rest of my life. This is quite huge, and of course there are moments when some bad feeling or doubt would like to creep in, but so far I have been able to see them come and immediately remember the choice I have made (to be free from such negativity forever no matter what), and they quickly retreat and disappear before even taking control over me. The resulting inner peace and freedom that I experience is very empowering. One of the results of this inner freedom is a greater motivation and ease to actually implement passive money-making programs that will create freedom on a more mundane level such as my finances, thus giving me more time to share my experience and simple freedom process with more people around the world. Several great programs to make passive income quickly and easily possible for me have also spontaneously shown up on my radar screen in recent days, including Joel's new version 4 of Adsense Secrets, and I am starting to implement them. I really encourage everyone to get rid of negative emotions FIRST, and THEN play the kinds of fun games of life that Joel has been playing and sharing about in this video. You're awesome! I love your videos & I love how you are being yourself in them!
I am working on my 1st blog this week, and you are one of the few "gurus" I would feel good about promoting. So many of those whom have made it in the IM industry seem to take on this celebrity status & come across as untouchable(= unapproachable) but not you. You are humble and you never flaunt what you've got which is what alot of "gurus" do these days.
